Star Fox 2
Star Fox 2 was the ill-fated sequel to Star Fox. Like before, it was a collaboration between Nintendo and Argonaut. The game was very near completion when it was canceled, and by stroke of luck, it has been leaked! If you know where to look, you can find it for your SNES emulator (but you won’t find it here). The game introduced many elements that would later show up in the series, including Star Wolf, All Range Mode, and the ability for ground and underwater missions. The Arwing turns into a walker for ground combat, and is capable of flying underwater. The game also introduced different secondary weapons other than the standard Nova Bomb. Sadly, this has not made it to another game. SF2 also introduced the characters having different ships, which was later revisited in Star Fox Command.
