Star Fox will be coming to the 3DS, in a classic way. It will be a remake of Star Fox 64 called “Star Fox 64 3D.”
More info to come as it breaks.

Since I am now the full owner of all SFO assets, my plate is a bit full. I just want to give you guys a heads-up that CSF may be merged into SFO.
Not sure yet, but that may happen.
I found a YouTube video of an arrangement of Corneria in an acoustic style using classical instruments.
Kamiya is the man behind Okami and Viewtiful Joe.
He recently dropped two tweets on Twitter (translations not mine):
First: “If they had the team that made Star Fox 64 make it…”
Then: “I want Nintendo’s staff to come to Platinum, stick guns at us and tell us ‘You guys make a new Star Fox.’”
Supposedly he sent a few more tweets discussing how much like liked SF64.
This guy has created some pretty good games, and he is apparently willing to make an old-school style SF game. Nintendo, are you listening?
A few music-related things I found on Youtube.
YouTube user Archard1 posted a video a couple of weeks ago of him playing the SNES Star Fox theme on guitar. Unlike most game music on guitar videos, he plays this one one a classical guitar in a relaxing style.
The performance isn’t perfect, but it isn’t bad. I love the arrangement. I wish it were longer.
Paul E. Gavin put together marching drumline parts for Area 6 and the Star Wolf Theme.
Ever wonder what a civilian on Corneria saw on their TV and heard on the radio when Andross began invading?
YouTube user coldsteel2204 decided to make some “Emergency Broadcast System” messages for Andross’ attacks. These are based on the SNES Star Fox.
FredrykPhox is working on a six-episode animated series based on Star Fox. It’s a bit wacky, and there are a lot of retro pop culture references, but this is surely shaping up to be one hell of a comedic look into the lives of the Star Fox team.

Here is a link to the project site.
Whether or not this can be considered “classic” is debatable, as there are newer characters in it, but I feel that it counts, as the story most definitely views the series through a classic fan’s lens.
He has been dropping teasers on the ArwingLanding and SFO forums, so be sure to check those places out as well.
I am excited about this one. I can’t wait.
If you know of any classic fanart or fanfics that you would like to see on this site, please let me know! In order to be considered “Classic,” it has to predate 2003.
You can e-mail me or PM me on the Forums.
Please provide a copy of the work, author/artist’s name, and author/artist’s contact info (if you have it).
Also, if you would like to write an article for us, you can contact me as well.
ClassicStarFox is go for launch!
I still need to get a few things straightened out, and there is some content to add still, but I am confident that now is a good time to launch!
More content should come in during the next couple of weeks.
